Former teacher (geography), teacher-trainer (geography again), author (geography - yet again - this time mainly atlases but also books about hymns and the history of my village), enjoy travel (well, I'm a geographer!!). Became a Christian as a teenager, largely through the influence my geography teacher(!) - my parents did become Christians late in life. Married a geographer - but David died in 2009.
Have been involved in Baptist and Anglican churches and somehow settled with the latter as long as they were fairly non-conformist(!) Been member of Mulbarton church since we moved here in 1974 - been Churchwarden, PCC Sec, Deanery Synod rep (and Sec) in my time - and now about to be an AWA.... Have 2 children,
5 grandchildren - daughter and 3 grandchildren in Norwich; son
and 2 grandchildren in Lancaster.
Jill has written several books about Mulbarton including 'The Book of Mulbarton: A Village That Has No History?'.
